MEET BRANDI COLLINS

Brandi Collins is a junior studying Spanish in the College of Literature, Science, & the Arts at the University of Michigan. After Michigan, Brandi will be pursuing a career in sports and entertainment law, with a long term career goal of being a general manager with a professional sports team and commissioner of a professional sports league. Brandi is the team manager for Michigan's Varsity Women's Lacrosse Team and a Sports Committee member in Michigan's Sports Marketing Internship Program. Brandi's other on campus involvement is within the Support for Incoming Black Students (S.I.B.S.) program, as a cluster leader, along with her involvement with the National Council for Negro Women (NCNW). In her spare time, she enjoys reading all things Marvel Entertainment. One of Brandi's favorite quotes is from Alice Wonderland: ""I can't go back to yesterday because I was a different person then."

MEET SHENIKA JOHN JORDAN 

Shenika John Jordan is a native of Brooklyn, New York. She is currently studying Voice Performance at the University of Michigan’s School of Music Theatre and Dance and interested in business, as well as arts management. As a classical vocalist, Shenika dedicates a lot of her time to studying, and practicing music. But on her spare time, she enjoys attending different music performances, reading, and hanging out with her friends. After attaining her Bachelors in Music at the University of Michigan, Shenika plans to get her Master’s in Voice as well as Business, and establish her career as an Opera singer. Her long term goal is to open up a talent agency for cultural minorities in the Arts that will take talented artists of color and give them lessons to help develop their skills, career advisement, and job opportunities.
